It's a simple, yet stunning dessert drink that's easy to whip up (with a little prep – the dalgona needs to be mixed and frozen) and super-fancy to serve to your friends. Let's get whisking!

FOR THE DALGONA

(It must be prepared a day in advance, so that it has time to freeze)

  • 1 oz instant coffee

  • 3.5 oz sugar

  • 3.5 oz of water

FOR THE FINAL SERVICE

  • Ice to fill 4 glasses

  • 20 oz of milk or more, depending on the size of the glass

  • 8 oz Baileys (2 oz per serving)

  • Frozen Dalgona from the previous recipe

  • Chocolate shavings for decoration

STEP ONE

Start by making your frozen dalgona. Combine instant coffee, sugar and 3.5 oz of boiling water in a bowl and whisk at full speed for 4-5 minutes until you get a stiff peak. Pour into a freezer-safe container with a lid and pop it in the freezer for 24 hours.

STEP TWO

Once your dalgona is frozen, grab your glasses and fill them with ice.

STEP THREE

Add the milk and the Baileys, then top with one of two scoops of your frozen dalgona.

STEP FOUR

Sprinkle with chocolate shavings and enjoy!
